Lady finger palm has been a top choice indoor palm for over a hundred years. They grow slow making them unlikely to outgrow your home. The dark green fronds are excellent against light colored walls, creating an pleasing silhouette. They are easy to grow in a good draining mix, watered regularly but allowing at least 50 percent of the soil to dry between episodes. Place in medium light, dust and wipe the fronds couple times a year. Fertilize very lightly and do not over pot.
