Description
A goldfish plant, named for the blooms that resemble orange fish. The common goldfish plant has shiny thick green leaves. This variety has red flushes to the back of the leaves. Goldfish plants are pretty easy, as they do well in our homes with moderate to bright light. They tend to spill outward and can be grown in hanging pots, but it isn't necessary. Best grown in a good draining mix, with regular water. They can lose leaves if too dry for too long. A good balanced fertilizer will help for growth and blooming. Tends to bloom in the summer.
