Description
One of the best indoor palms, hence its common name, Parlor Palm because they did so well in early 20th century parlors, that were dark and drafty. These palms rarely get over 6 feet tall. They have delicate leaflets that droop lightly giving an elegant appearance. The fronds are easily brushed past without injury to plant or person. Making them perfect for smaller homes. They need regular water, with good drainage. Fertilize lightly during the warm months, over fertilizing can cause brown tips to the leaves. These palms are fairly slow growing so choose a good size plant to start with.
