Begonia grows like a little bonsai, with a thick stem and large caudex base. This is a very large leaf form, resembling Japanese Maples. It is best to grow in a fast draining mix. Water regularly through growing period, in Summer. In Winter, it will often go dormant and lose its leaves, for a few months. It is best to water less and let stay dry longer during dormancy. Grow in bright light.
