Description
This is a vining plant with a large caudex, or swollen basal stem. Similar to other caudex forming plants, this is a drought tolerant plant, that prefers excellent drainage and drying out between watering. In nature is supposed to go dormant in winter, yet in the home environment may stay green. If it drops all leaves it is best to stop watering, until new growth. Prefers bright light. Will need a trellis for tidy growth.
