Description
Hoyas are fascinating vines in the milkweed family, with enticing fragrant flowers. As a milkweed, they do have a sap that can be irritating to skin, so careful when pruning. Hoyas have a collectable following so be careful, one or two can lead to many. This species has small pointed leaves with a marbled silver green color. This one is pretty well behaved to because rather than climbing upward it drapes and hangs, making it perfect for a hanging pot. It has beautiful little flowers, but are often unnoticed as they are creamy and they form often under the leaves. Hoyas are best grown in bright light and an open mix. Water regularly and fertilize with a balanced fertilizer during growing season.
