Description
Dumb Cane. New varieties of an old favorite. Dumb Canes are easy to grow houseplants, tolerating dry air, poor light and low water. They grow leaves up a cane and are fairly fast growing in good conditions. However, the old varieties grew tall and leggy, often needing staking. The new varieties are shorter and more bushy and come in all sorts of colors and patterns. Give medium light and water regularly but sparingly. Give a quarter turn of the pot every month or so for best even growth.
