Description
Silver Squill is a native to the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, growing in rocky areas under other plants. The tear-shaped purple bulbs sit on the ground and have silver spotted leaves. They bloom in summer, little pink stems carrying creamy flowers. The plant makes a lovely little clump and easily sits on a windowsill. Give medium to bright light, good drainage and let dry in between episodes of watering.
