Description

Spider plants have been a long time favorite houseplant, for their ease of care and delightful ability to propagate itself. Spider plants grow best in medium to bright light. In a well draining mix and watered regularly but sparingly, they are prone to rot if wet for too long. They can survive for long periods neglected. Grown in good conditions, the plants will grow thin rhizomes with little baby plants attached, these often hang down, resembling a descending spider. These can be removed and planted separately, although most leave them as the mother plant becomes a more lush specimen.
