Description
Kangaroo Fern is a fantastic epiphytic fern, with a creeping rhizome. The fronds are a glossy medium green and arise from the hairy rhizome. The leaves have a variety of shapes, on the same plant. The rhizome tends to grow a soil level and will quickly leap over the side of the pot. They tend to twist and tangle over the edge. They are a lot of fun to grow, because not only are the leaves highly variable in shape, but they can be grown in a variety of ways; mounted to wood, basket, pot or even climbing on other plants. They need bright light and regular watering, but other than that they are not too picky. Just make sure they have excellent drainage or very little moisture holding. So easy!
